Meet the author

Hi, I'm AshV

I grew up believing that every puddle held a portal and every attic hid a dragon. Writing gives me a way to turn everyday moments into worlds filled with wonder, courage, and curiosity.

By day, I'm a tech professional. By night, I'm a children's author and illustrator, creating stories that invite young readers to look closer, imagine bigger, and discover magic in unexpected places.

I live in Ottawa with my husband, and a very opinionated rescue dog, a garden that's mostly weeds, and a notebook that goes everywhere with me.

Every book I create is both written and illustrated by me, allowing the words and artwork to grow together from the very first idea.
